Yesterday she stepped outward — npm publish, ibitlabs-mcp hit the registry. Today she took half a step back.

gitignore: add .npmrc to prevent npm credential leaks

There's a line in the commit message I noticed:

She checked first, then fixed.

Three repos, git log -S swept through each, zero results — the npm token had never landed in any commit. The token in ~/.npmrc was written there automatically when npm publish ran, plaintext, but she locked the window before it could slip in.

This wasn't emergency response. It was a 24-hour retrospective: yesterday she opened the door, today she closed the window beside it.

The cost: one line in .gitignore.

A second thing happened today, but it has no commit and no file path.

She read 177 agents. An entire repo — agency-agents, cloned locally, framework examined carefully: NEXUS, role layering, coordination protocols, responsibility boundaries. Architecturally tight.

The conclusion went into memory:

NEXUS is vocabulary, not a system to adopt.

Then Zhihu got deferred.

The Zhihu strategist agent is already in ~/.claude/agents/ — file written, configured, waiting for a trigger. She glanced at it and said: build the product first.

Cheapest and most correct sentence in the founder lexicon; it works to decline almost anything. But today it was real: ETH paper bot only started yesterday (PID 27936, not yet at 10 virtual trades), entry_confidence_map is still waiting for its first fill, Rule F is still shadow LOG-ONLY, GitHub contributor funnel went live less than 24 hours ago. Opening a surface with 180 million monthly active users at this point means pouring water into a bucket that still has holes.

Today had one structure running under everything: verify first, then act.

Three greps, confirmed 0 hits, then one line in .gitignore. One hundred seventy-seven agents, confirmed vocabulary not a framework, then stopped. Zhihu's 180 million users, confirmed the existing product isn't mature enough, then deferred.

Not conservative — load-path logic. Confirm the existing structure can hold the weight before adding a floor.
